Coach Donnan started the season on fire and swept the week-1 slate to produce an impressive 5-0 record. Like many other prognosticators riding a hot hand, Jim was quickly brought back down to reality, going 1-6 in week-2. His lone win came after USC quarterback Caleb Williams and the Trojans dismantled the Stanford Cardinal 56-10 at Memorial Coliseum to cover the 29-point spread.
After a tough week, Coach is going with a different strategy and scaling down the overall number of picks he makes for week-3. He also adds an NFL pick to his weekly plays for the first time this season.
Week-3 Picks
Kansas State -4.5 (at. Mizzou)
Eagles “over” 13.5 first-half team total (vs. Vikings)
Week-2 Picks
Alabama -7 (vs. Texas) – LOSS
Texas A&M -4.5 (at. Miami) – LOSS
Arkansas -37.5 (vs. Kent State) – LOSS
USC -29 (vs. Stanford) – WON
Vanderbilt-Wake Forest “over” 57.5 – LOSS
Auburn-Cal “over” 54.5 – LOSS
Iowa-Iowa State “over” 36.5 – LOSS
Last Week: 1-6
Season Record: 6-6 (50%)
