Coming off of a career year in first season with the Falcons, Cordarrelle Patterson made his intent to stay in Atlanta perfectly clear with custom cleats being sent to the front office saying “Cut the check, Mr. Blank”. Referencing the Falcons owner, Arthur Blank.

This was not the first time Patterson used his footwear to convey a message to the organization as he recently wore cleats that indicated his desire to retire in Atlanta.

Patterson was an unexpected powerhouse for the Falcons offense this season. He recorded 1,116 yards from scrimmage this year which was a massive improvement from his previous record of less than 700 yards. Patterson was also was one of the top fantasy contributors of the year.
Patterson has previously been a member of the Minnesota Vikings, Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots and Chicago Bears. In his first year with the Falcons they finished 7-10.
