Saturday night marked the debut event for an exciting, new local MMA promotion called All or Nothing Fights hosted at the Soddy Daisy Wrestling Arena. The first event was packed full of 15 exciting fights.
This is a new MMA and kickboxing venture opened up by Billy Swanson, a professional fighter who has competed in Bellator, AFC and Valor.
Many fighters were making their respective debuts in kickboxing and MMA which resulted in a night of eventful action. A full highlight real can be seen below with some of the standout moments from the evening.
A major standout moment from the evening was the excellence displayed by the fighters from American Top Team Atlanta. Ronald Humphrey specifically delivered the slam of the evening against Anthony Walker.
The fight and performance of the night has to be awarded to Jazzy “The Jazzmanian Devil” Sergeant, who made her MMA debut in a 115 lb. bout against Alexis Teague. 18 seconds was all it took for Sergeant to deliver a stunning TKO in the fist round. For a frame of reference, the UFC record for the fastest knockout in the straw-weight division is when Weili Zhang KO’d Jéssica Andrade in 42 seconds.
Swanson says that this will not be a one-off event and is looking at April/May for a second All or Nothing fight night.
Stay tuned to ESPN 95.3 and ESPN Chattanooga on news for the next event. Jazzy Sergeant is scheduled to appear on an upcoming episode of Watch It! hosted by Jake Moore available wherever you get your podcasts.
