In a stunning move, the Atlanta Hawks have received Kevin Knox and a 2022 protected first round pick in exchange for Cam Reddish–a former first round pick, Solomon Hill and a 2025 second round pick.

Upon arrival in New York, Reddish will be reunited with former Duke teammate, RJ Barrett. Barrett is having his best season yet in the NBA.
Reddish has averaged 11.9 points in the current season. Hill has only played in 13 games and averages 0.6 points per game. Coming from the Knicks, Kevin Knox averages 3.6 points per game. Knox was the 9th overall pick in the 2018 draft.
Reddish–who is only 22 years old–shows improvement this season, especially in his 3-point shooting. Reddish also is a towering figure at 6’8.
A possible reason for this move from the Hawks perspective is to unload several assets in order to gear up for a larger move at the trade deadline, possibly for Ben Simmons or Jerami Grant.
