2024 Football Schedule Revealed

CHATTANOOGA—The Chattanooga Mocs revealed the 2024 football schedule Thursday. The 12-game slate includes two FBS bowl winning sides as well as three FCS Playoffs participants from the 2023 campaign.
It starts heavy. The opener is at Tennessee followed by a trip to Georgia State before the home opener against Mercer. The Vols were 35-0 Citrus Bowl winners over Iowa, while the Panthers captured the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl by a 45-22 count over Utah State. The Bears advanced to the second round of the FCS Playoffs before succumbing to eventual National Champ South Dakota State.
An off week gives the squad a break before Portland State crosses multiple time zones to visit the Scenic City. Then it’s seven straight Southern Conference weeks starting at ETSU and Furman before coming home for Wofford and VMI.
The regular season closes with three of four on the road in November. Trips to Western Carolina and The Citadel precede the home regular season finale with Samford. Then it’s an FCS Playoff rematch on the final week at Austin Peay.
“It’s another big challenge,” Coach Rusty Wright began. “It’s a 12-game schedule. The first three games are against bowl winners and a playoff team. It’ll be a difficult start, but we play them when they tell us to.
“We play in a strong league where every team plays everyone. Not all leagues are like that. It’s a gauntlet, but we’ll prepare, come together and compete from start-to-finish.”
Season Tickets Renewal Season Open
The opportunity to renew season tickets opened this week. The exclusive renewal window remains open until Feb. 26 when new sales are available. Prices start at $60 for general admission seats. Season ticket holders and Mocs Club members get priority on special events and away tickets (i.e. at Tennessee). More information on renewals and season ticket pricing is found here. The final deadline to renew season tickets is May 31.
