SEC Media Days have come and gone and now we take another step closer to the beginning of the exciting 2022 season.
One thing we’ve learned from this poll is that the media believes it’s clearly a two team race between the two teams that met in the National Championship Game last season, Alabama and Georgia. From there, it’s all about the Crimson Tide as they’re the overwhelming favorite to win the conference.
Tennessee was shown some love after year one of Josh Heuple and the ‘Heup Train’ as they were explosive on offense and will be returning their potentially Heisman Trophy hopeful in signal caller Hendon Hooker. Where the Vols will need to improve is on defense where they lacked the necessary depth to truly compete in 2021.
